I was born in El Paso, TX but raised in Ciudad Juárez, CHI.

My parents are both educators.

I moved to Austin for college and studied Bilingual Education at UT.

I tried to follow in my parents’ footsteps but, eventually, I couldn’t ignore the obvious any longer.
